• Dr. Judith Uchidiuno

    Judith is an Assistant Professor at Georgia Tech’s School of Interactive Computing and directs the Play and Learn Lab. She designs culturally-informed CS education technologies and increases access to computer science education in sustainable ways for students from low-income and underserved communities.

    Jane is a third-year Ph.D. student at the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. Her research focuses on codesigning sustainable computer science curriculums in West Africa for use in formal and informal learning spaces.

    Jared is a second-year PhD student at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech studying Computer Science. His research interests are centered investigating the usage of technologies to broaden participation in programming among historically underrepresented communities.

    Bryan is a second-year Ph.D. student at the School of Interactive Computing. His research interests include incorporating the arts into CS Education, integration of CS into other subject areas, and innovative approaches for teaching CS in marginalized settings.

    Sophie is a game designer and a graduate of the MS-HCI program within the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. Her research interests include creative and educational game design, designing interactive environments, and interactive fiction.

    Briana is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Computer Science and Pre-Law at Georgia Tech. She is also a member of NCWIT’s Helen Fellows Program. Her research interests include studying the impact biased algorithms in artificial intelligence have on marginalized groups.
